...and so the story begins, when cd and martin found themselves working in the same capitalistic banking environment, they soon realised that some form of artistic escapism would be necessary to avoid certain catastrophic inevitabilities (such as terminal boredom).
...and thus, an ecotonian democracy was formed. the initial lineup included bobblehead, cd and martin who both re-worked some of bobblehead & martin's old classics from earlier projects and the writing of new materials. the sessions would continue in cd's home studio as the tracks were developed, until a drummer was required.
...the band members simply performed an indian rain dance, and offered a human sacrifice to the gods, and with a CRASH of lightning - was brought to us not only our drummer, but also the means of new recording techniques and environments which would revolutionise the ecotonian production industry.
...this is why ecotones is not just music, it's religion! - and it's the only one with any real truth in it! - so have faith, support us and you will enjoy a fruitful afterlife in the ecotonian nirvana of everlasting sound and light! ^_^
